    Inexpensive, good location

Dreadful bathroom. Broken (missing) tap parts, tired overall and absolutely nothing to wash with. If this were a last minute booking there wasn't even anything to wash with in the shower.

Stayed in Travelodge Belfast a few times and have always found it clean staff friendly and accomodating. Very central and would have no hesitation in recomending it to family and friends.

Liked staying in belfast and meeting family and visiting places and shopping

I feel that staying in the hotel was ok but on the friday night there was a disturbance or fighting on our floor for which went on for serveral hours shouting fighting and a lot of door slaming. My partner sleeps very heavly so not want ing to wake him I sat in the room on tenterhooks. I wanted to ring down to reception but no phone number was printed on information sheet in room and no phones either so there was no emergency contact with any member of staff or security. On reporting this in the morning manager was not available, I feel that there should be some sort of contact with reception on a 24 hours basis. We visited family who live in holywood . visiting ireland for the first time my self not my partner who has been a lot before I would think twice about staying at travelodge.

The location is excellent. This area is full of bars and restaurants with a cinema just five minutes walk away. Although the hotel does not have a car park, it is possible to park FOC on the road outside the hotel between the hours of 6.00pm to 8.00am.

Not much to be honest. But you get what you pay for. Emma the receptionist was very pleasant and very helpful.

The bed had a big dirty stain on it and was quite revolting. If I was staying in the hotel and not simply using it to wash and freshen up after a long journey I would of refused to stay in the bed or ask for it to be changed.

    decent price, decent location

my room had dirty glasses in it, and i accidentily drank from then. also, bathroom sink was quite dirty.

    Excellent location

Really not impressed. Our toilet smelt of urine and the bedclothes of sweat. The duvet cover was torn at the seam to show a duvet that was brown with hairs sticking to it.i know it is budget accomodation but a clean hygenic room is a basic requirement and this was not fulfilled. Will definitley not be returning to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone no matter how tight their budget is. As far as I see it is worth paying an extra £10-20 a night to ensure a clean room.

The location was great and the room was very clean. Staff were very friendly and there was a good check out time not too early!

The room was way too hot and the window only opened a little so it was very stuffy most of the time and uncomfortable. The bed also wasn't great and most of the tv channels were fuzzy. The shower either was scalding hot or freezing and soaked everywhere even with the shower curtain.

Poor service. They received our booking however we were refused as they were full up upon our arrival. Did not offer alternative accommodation.

Hotel cleanliness average. Bed linen did not look like it had been changed, hairs on pillows! Tv remote & signal awful!!! Shower and toilet clean(ish)! Location great as is bang in city centre however the bar across the road may prove for a sleepless night - however this cant be helped. What little interaction i had with staff they were pleasant enough. Would recommend this hotel for backpackers/travellers only! I wouldnt stay more than one night here.

Close to the centre, and close to where I was working.

Only the location was decent. Everything else made me think they'd just painted a prison white and put a Travelodge sign on the front. As soon as you walk in you feel you've made a mistake in booking there. The room felt like a Swiss euthanasia clinic, and not much worked. The tv volume control is strictly set at one very low level and can't be changed. The out-of-focus tv was set high and flat against the wall at an angle you could only watch comfortably by standing in the middle of the room. My two bed lamps were faulty (a bulb had gone on one and the other was hanging off the wall), so it was the main room light or nothing. The bathroom smelt of cheap strong soap but didn’t look clean, and had an unnervingly flickering light which gave you the feel of either a morgue or total darkness. The view from the room was that of a grotty conservatory roof, littered with ashtray contents. The staff were ok I suppose, although not very helpful when I asked for a hairdryer (none issued in the room like every other normal hotel) and iron (both out and had none spare). They also forgot to issue my breakfast voucher, which is for the attached (but separately run) restaurant. Which I'd also avoid - asking for scrambled eggs instead of their standard issue full cooked breakfast was met with a big sigh and them pointing out that it takes "more than one egg to do that". Pointing out to them that surely a full cooked breakfast would cost them more was met with another eye roll and sigh, so if you’re staying here just go for the full cooked breakfast and save yourself the hassle. But just don’t stay here!
